23. Jordan Hotel (1875-1906)

August 10, 2024 Emily Bunnell

Jordan Hotel Windsor’s only real hotel was Elijah Jordan’s Jordan House. It opened in 1875 as a stagecoach stop with a tavern on the first floor, guest rooms on the second, and a dance hall on the third. Charles H. Ball, owner of the nearby Ball Mill, later maintained it as a rooming house for mill workers until about 1930.
